Think Dog is a dog-centric company determined to elevate fun by thoughtfully creating products that trigger and exercise a dog’s core instincts.
Think Dog wanted to appeal to adults who loved their pets as much as they loved their children; however, their existing brand identity was more reminiscent of a kid’s coloring book. Once discovering that Think Dog stemmed from a brand family with 20+ years of experience in the industry, we knew it was imperative to design the brand around that strong foundation of history in the pet industry.
Think Dog, by Delca Corporation, produces many toys (all sustainably might we add) that it was important to design a primary logo that was simple, bold and easily legible on their packaging and on the shelves.
We went back to basics with primary colors: blue, red and yellow with a splash of periwinkle to symbolize the foundation set by Think Dog’s corporate parent Delca Corporation. Combining the primary colors (or the foundational pillars of Delca metaphorically speaking), in theory opens up the endless possibilities of hues.
