So Hum Cacao produces handcrafted organic, vegan chocolate and cacao body butters. Birthed in the kitchen of a quaint home in San Clemente, CA, their products can now be found from Southern Orange County all the way up to San Luis Obispo, CA.
Through packaging design, we emphasized the artisanal essence of the brand by showcasing their uniquely handcrafted products.
Sharing more than just a handcrafted chocolate, founder and spiritual teacher Nichole Anne Ferro leads to create consciousness of living with intention and sense of community through communal cacao ceremonies. The phrase So Hum translates to I am that. The logo is a representation of the Heart Chakra that serves as the center of love for oneself and being.
Starting a small business from scratch can come with many challenges. In this case, we were challenged with a small packaging budget; but that didn’t hold us back. We found the most cost-effective and eco-conscious solution. The box features recycled paper, a thin window to showcase the handcrafted chocolates, and very little plastic use.
