Sol Mexican Cocina offers fresh, savory, and healthy Coastal Mexican cooking paired with over 100 types of tequila and fine mezcals.
Embracing the aesthetic of authentic Mexican culture, Sol Mexicana Cocina introduced six cards from the traditional game of Lotería to dress up their signature mezcal cocktail, El Mezcalero. We were commissioned to design and illustrate these new age cards. Programs used included Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, and Adobe InDesign.
“I reached out to Sheila for a pretty outside-the-box idea I had for a cocktail garnish. She got my vision immediately and was able to conceptualize and execute the project even better than I had imagined. It wasn’t an easy task; taking some very iconic images, modernizing them, and subtly infusing our logo into them, but she nailed it.”
